I’ve Discovered A Whole New Perspective On Life!

As I’ve always wanted to get from A to B faster than it would seem possible, it seemed perfectly reasonable to me to learn from other people’s experience and get some guidance from people that already have the knowledge I need.

Things I want in life come to me more easily…

I didn't even know what to think,
say or do…..

I first met Mike in 1989. We had the opportunity to get to know each other a little while he was visiting California and we were working on a business project together.

One day I was plunged into an extremely traumatic event that created an incredible amount of personal emotional turmoil for myself, and my family.

I was devastated and totally unprepared for what happened and what followed...Looking back, I know that Mike was even less prepared than me!

Considering we were not exactly friends, but just new acquaintances at that time, I'm not sure why he would even get involved in such an awful situation...we've talked about that since and he's not sure either!

I still don't know what would compel someone who, at the time, lived 6000 miles away to take the time and trouble to help me...but I am eternally grateful that he did!

I Changed The Way I Looked At Things And Changed My Life!

I had been disillusioned for many years, with no balance and no direction in my life, having a job I disliked, and really being frustrated on how my life had evolved, and not knowing HOW I could change direction!

I had for some time been in search for a mentor to guide and help me to find  ‘my path’, and a way of living my personal, spiritual and business life, in balance. I had also recently had some personal traumatic experiences, making it all the more urgent and necessary to find solutions.

I became aware of Mike Lewis through an e-mail newsletter and I looked at his website, liking what I saw. I immediately felt some kind of ‘connection’ and that he could be the one I had been looking for as a mentor!

He very much reminded me of myself, regarding his different interests within sports and the person he seemed to be, so I signed up for a 6 week introductory class with him.  THAT got me so interested and excited that I ‘ordered’ him to be my coach!

Time To Turn!   180 Degrees?

I have been on the road to prosperity for several years. It was a longer road than I thought! It started with big dreams in Network Marketing, some bad decisions and a couple of major road-wrecks a few years later...

But what the heck? – I’m not the kind of person who just gives up – so I continued on the same road, I made some more bad decisons, with even larger wrecks to follow…

Yes, there is a trend here!

When I first met Mike Lewis, I was tired and beat up… Tired of doing things in a way others told me to do.  And I just couldn’t get what I was doing wrong…

...No Way Out?

After more than 20 years as a Senior Executive in a very fast paced industry, I initially began working with Mike to resolve an issue that I had with recruiting to expand my company. I just KNEW I could DO more and BE more…..

I had been a stay-at-home Mom for 13 years. I really wanted to develop a career that I enjoyed and that would create a level of financial independence for me and my children.

I wasn't qualified for much and I ended up in a series of administrative jobs that did not pay well and did not have the flexibility of schedule that I needed.

I have found the joy in just being ME!

I felt stuck in the way I was working with my home-based business.  I really wanted it to work, but I was stressed about exactly what to do to make it work, and that created pressure in my family life, my regular job at the hospital and of course within the business itself.

The start of a very exciting journey…..

It is often said "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear."

Life isn’t designed to be a struggle!

Three years ago I thought that I was so smart, and that I knew everything.  But I found out that I didn't - because I didn't get any success or fulfillment in what I did.

Then I discovered something called Coaching!

So I found my first coach, and I learned to be a very skilled salesman. It helped me build a big business, but I had to work like a maniac to maintain that business, and I didn’t like the way I felt about it.

After one year I was completely burned out and could do nothing for almost a year.  Predictably my business decreased.

Then I got to know Mike Lewis.  I found out that he has a completely different way of looking at things.  Life isn’t designed to be a struggle, it’s designed to be easy, and there has to be fun.

…Ready for ADVENTURE!

I was just sitting up on the top deck of my boat, looking out at the beautiful sunset here in Boston Harbor, reflecting on how much my life has changed in the past year and a half, and how much you have been a part of it.

For without you, it could never have happened, of that I'm sure.

I remember our first session, I still have my notes. In going back through them I'm amazed at where I am today and where I was when we first started. I am living on my boat, living my dream, thanks to you helping me realize that I really could do it on my own, after my husband passed on.

Here are some thoughts I'd like to share, just to let you know how much you have truly helped me.

I guess the first thing that comes to mind is 'Confidence'. Before we started talking together I was pretty unsteady (that's an understatement!) in that area - but now I know I can face life and all its quirks with a confidence that has real staying power. I can deal with what comes my way. I have a far better understanding of who I am. (OK - I still have issues with that now and then, but it doesn't last!!)

Next, I guess, is keeping me focused on what I want - my needs, my dreams and desires. Without our sessions, I know I would have failed in that regard. Family and friends do mean well, but they just can't give us the objectivity and experience we really need in order to change and grow, the way we really want to.

And because of you, I now have my very own part-time business, which is growing steadily with your help and assistance. A business I never would have thought of on my own! Thank you! You certainly aimed me in the right direction. Thank you too, for your wonderful ideas on how to market and expand my business!

I had a DREAM!

Since 1989 I have had a dream - to establish a treatment centre for people suffering from Anorexia. I have a personal history that goes back 26 years. I know this disease inside out.

I was working like a maniac!

I was living in a 9 sq m room in my father’s house with my 10 year-old daughter while I worked on my project. I had to send my oldest daughter to live with her father. I was stressed on SO many different levels. 

At times I didn’t earn any money, I experienced ‘friends’ steal my ideas and the little money I had, and I hadn’t been on a holiday for years. Progress was slow and I had to struggle and fight for my survival. I was really exhausted, devastated and hurt.

The Universe works in mysterious ways!  A friend introduced me to Mike Lewis and we started talking.  In the beginning it was to help me with a home-based business idea that I had planned to create to supplement my income, but at this point is was more a matter of helping me just survive – financially, mentally and physically.

I started to really change my way of thinking and my beliefs and I had some unexplainable experiences that changed my faith in the Universe forever.

He taught me to take one thing at a time. I changed my environment, and found a nice place to live that made me feel good.  I focused my energy, and spent more quality time with my daughters. He helped me believe in myself, and trust my intuition. Now I make good decisions all the time without any hesitation.   

To me one of Mike’s greatest skills is his way of showing his belief in you – no matter what your choices are. He really, and I mean REALLY listens to you, and he supports you in a way I have never experienced before.

All my life I have met kind, and clever people who have tried to give me good advice, but something in their words just didn’t sound right.  But Mike’s words do!

…relax!!!!!

Mike has also taught me to relax! Something funny to teach someone who is striving to succeed!  This has been one of the hardest things for me to learn. TO DO NOTHING! Just let the Universe work for you.

After one year of talking with Mike, my life has changed into my dream!!

-I have just been to France on holiday, just to relax.

-The new facilities for my project, The Victoria Centre in Copenhagen are ready for me to decorate before we open for clients in September. Amazing!

-For the first time EVER, the Danish Government is providing financial support to private initiatives, including The Victoria Centre!

Incredible!

-I have started my own company, hired 5 of the most supportive colleagues I could wish for, to work with.

Yesss!

-Today I’m in perfectly health both physically and mentally.

Wonderful!

And at last, I will be helping the people I care about, who cannot help themselves, AND I will be paid all I’m worth. 

One more thing! My oldest daughter is spending two whole weeks with me, and her sister with no plans, but just to have fun.
