What follows is a snapshot of 'yours
truly', just so that you can get a
sense of what makes me tick!
There's probably more in here than you
really need to know, but I'll soon get
to find out all about you, so I want you
to get a feel for who I am and what I'm
all about..it's only fair right ?
I'm
a recovering adrenalin seeker, probably
only in temporary remission!…....Martial
Artist, Kamikaze Downhill Mountain
Biker, Inline Skater and stuff like
that.
I
still enjoy those things, but as the
years have rolled by, and I have come to
understand the true meaning of the word
'pain', my days of reckless abandon have
significantly reduced somewhat and I
have developed a new awareness.....it's
called 'calculated risk' Ha!
So now I at least
'look before I leap'…still love
the buzz though!
I
like to live life like the adventure it
was designed to be and inspire others to
do the same.
The International nature of my Coaching
Practice gives me the opportunity to
live anywhere in the world I choose.
Although San Diego, California is where
I call home, right now I'm having
The Time Of My Life in sunny,
Southern Spain, where there are 330 full
days of sunshine a year, the sky is blue
and the ocean is turquoise..wonderful!
If I feel the need to experience
somewhere new….I'll be there, but right
now, life is good.
I'm
a nature loving, fitness oriented,
health conscious, fun seeking single Dad
to the two greatest people I know. My
daughter Vikki, who's a Consultant for
one of the UK's largest head-hunting
firms, and my son Alex who's a
Professional Yachtsman.
I
don't watch TV, (Except Formula One
Motor Racing at 18 races a year!) …..and
haven't bought a daily newspaper since
1982. I've lost the taste for meat and
alcohol..but not for chocolate!
I've never smoked…… Never really grasped
why anyone of a sound mind would want to
put something in their mouth and then
set fire to it!
I'm English by birth and spent most of
my life there. The later years have been
spent in the USA. I've lived in
Vancouver, Washington …Scottsdale,
Arizona,… and San Diego, California. I
love America and I love the American
people. But the bureaucracy? The
propaganda? The government? Well….
Right now I'm having a great deal of fun
being part of the Spanish culture, which
has a delightful irreverence toward
bureaucracy, government and anything
that interferes with enjoying life,
which suits me just fine !
I've lived my entire life in a state of
'positive expectancy'. By that I mean I
have ALWAYS expected the very best to
happen to me..and for the most part it
really has! Of course I've had to face
my fair share of adversity, but you know
what they say "It's not how far you
fall, it's how high you bounce that
matters!"
I have no fear of
death....and plan to be at least 110
years old before I get to debate whether
it's my time to go or not…and I just
LOVE to debate!
For
those people who are intrigued about my
shaved head and have pondered the
question "Is Vin Diesel really just
another Mike Lewis look-alike?" ,
Hollywood sources have remained
tight-lipped on the issue.
San
Diego natives, however, will recall my
appearance at the legendary 3rd
Annual Austin Powers Shaggathon a
few years back, where I shaved my head
and won first prize as the character Dr
Evil….Ha!
I kinda liked it, so I've been shaving
it ever since!
So read on..enjoy
the pictures.
..and Keep
Smiling!
Mike

Where I Live
Born
in England, now San Diego, California
based, which is about as close to
paradise as you can get…but I'm sure
there's less traffic in paradise!
…at the moment
I'm
currently taking advantage of an
opportunity to experience the life, the
history and the culture of Spain,
currently residing at Paradise Beach,
just outside the old fishing port of
Villajoyosa, on the beautiful Costa
Blanca, overlooking the Mediterranean
Sea.
